Hadley, Mass. - Following the conclusion of the 2025 season for Colby Baseball, three Mules have been named to the All-Conference team including Co-Pitcher of the Year
Ryan Grecco and Rookie of the Year
Myles Gythfeldt.
Grecco is the first Colby pitcher to earn the NESCAC Pitcher of the Year honor. He also earned a spot on the All-NESCAC First Team for the first time in his career. The senior led the Mules' pitching staff with a 2.72 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP in 53 innings of work. Grecco ranked second among NESCAC pitchers in strikeouts (53) and wins (5). He posted a 5-3 record, highlighted by a nine-inning, three-hit, complete-game 2-0 win against Wesleyan in the opening game of the NESCAC Quarterfinal series.
Joining Grecco on the All-Conferecne First Team is Gythfeldt, the second Colby player to garner NESCAC Rookie of the Year honors behind Nick Spillance in 2006. The first-year ranked second among the conference leaders with a .408 batting average, posted a .480 on-base percentage, and a .957 OPS. Gythfeldt knocked out 53 hits, second in the NESCAC, and drove in 32 runs for the Mules while also collecting 13 stolen bases.
Clint Flippo was also named All-NESCAC earning Second Team honors. The senior outfielder ranks 12th in the conference in hits (43) and 15th in batting average (.347). Flippo also had 27 runs (second most on the team), seven doubles, and 11 RBIs with a .403 slugging percentage and .418 on base percentage over the course of the season.
The Mules will be back in action next spring.
