Jake Cohen of the Colby Men's Tennis team is headed to Claremont, California after being selected to compete in this years NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships. He joins six other NESCAC competitors who have made the cut.
Following the team championship taking place May 19th-23rd, the individual championships will begin on Friday, May 23rd and conclude with the finals on Monday the 26th. Cohen, with a 12-9 overall singles record this year (8-6 in dual matches), will enter the tournament ranked fifth overall in region one. All matches will take place at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center hosted by Claremont McKenna Mudd Scripps Colleges.
The individual championships shall consist of a 32 player bracket. The selection of individuals for the championships is based on won-lost record, strength of schedule and eligibility and availability of student-athletes. The draw for the individual championship will be done by the men's tennis committee and will be released on May 22 not before 1 p.m.

Jason Daly have also been selected as the sixth doubles alternate. Any singles player or doubles team that scratches from the tournament will be replaced in sequential order by the list of alternates.
