Waterville, Maine - Following their intense double overtime 3-2 win in the quarterfinal round here on Mayflower Hill, the third seeded Colby Men's Ice Hockey team is set to face off against fifth seeded Tufts in the semifinal round hosted by Hamilton. The winner of Saturday's game will play for the NESCAC title the following day, March 9th, against the winner of the No. 7 Middlebury vs No. 1 Hamilton matchup.
During the regular season the Mules went 2-0 against the Jumbos with a 6-4 victory on December 6th in Waterville and an overtime 3-2 win on February 21st in Medford. Heading into the championship weekend for the third time in four years, Colby remains unbeaten with a record of 4-0-4 dating back to February 1st.
Saturday's matchup is set for a 4:30pm start following the conclusion of the other semifinal game starting at 1:00pm. Fans can follow alongside the action using the
