Waterville, ME - The Colby College Mules (7-1) swept the New England College Pilgrims (3-9) in their Sunday afternoon matchup. Colby won the first game 12-3 and the second 8-7.

Game One Key Moments:

• Corey Aubuchon tripled to right field to score Myles Gythfeldt and Duncan Cullinane in the third inning.
• Clint Flippo and Patrick Shrake scored on a Ryan Grace triple later in the inning.
• In the fourth inning, Henry Silva hit a single that scored Cullinane.
• Gythfeldt singled to right field in the fifth inning to score Marco Zirpolo.
• Ryan Grecco (1-0) struck out seven batters and earned the win.

Game Two Key Moments:

• Shrake scored on a Flippo single in the first inning.
• In the third inning, Ethan Hillenberg scored Tony Silva and Gythfeldt on a double to right field.
• The duo of Shrake and Flippo repeated their scoring play in the fourth inning.
• Marco Zirpolo scored when he capitalized on an NEC error after a triple in the sixth inning. Liam Shea-Gallagher also scored.
• Three Colby pitchers combined for eight strikeouts.
