Waterville, ME - The Colby College Mules (2-0) defeated the University of Maine - Farmington Beavers (0-2) in both games of their doubleheader matchup. The Mules won the first game 9-6 and won the second game 26-4.

Game One Key Moments:

• In the third inning, Ryan Grace homered to right field, scoring Clint Flippo.
• Tony Silva homered in the fifth, scoring Grace and Flippo.
• Myles Gythfeldt singled in the sixth inning on a play that scored Ethan Hillenberg.
• Later in the sixth, Grace doubled to right field to score Corey Aubuchon.
• Matt Higgins earned the win as the Colby pitchers struck out nine batters.

Game Two Key Moments:

• Grace tripled to center field in the first inning to score Flippo.
• Kai Aoki scored Silva on a double to left field in the second inning.
• Later that inning, Marco Zirpolo and Gythfeldt scored on a Patrick Shrake triple to right field.
• Ben Croteau hit a double in the sixth inning that scored Luca Carriles-Alvarado, Sam Nigro, and Shrake.
• Thomas Rioux earned the win for the Mules. He struck out the side in the second inning, contributing to his eight strikeouts in four innings pitched.
