Waterville, Maine - For the fifth consecutive season, the ninth ranked Colby Women's Ice Hockey team is set to host a NESCAC Quarterfinals matchup taking on sixth seeded Trinity on Saturday. Following the shutout sweep over Middlebury to conclude the regular season, the Mules earned the third seed in the conference tournament for the second year in a row.
During the regular season, Colby went 3-0 against the Bantams. Starting with a non-conference matchup on December 7th winning 3-2 and in back-to-back NESCAC games with scorelines of 4-1 and 3-0 on January 31st and Feburary 1st. The Mules will enter the postseason on a hot streak with a record of 7-1 in their last eight games. Colby has won their quarterfinal matchup and advanced to the semifinal round in the past four consecutive seasons.
Saturday's contest is set for a 1:00pm start right here on Mayflower Hill. Fans can follow alongside the action using the

NESCAC Championship Central page for more information. The winner will advanced to the championship weekend with the semifinal round on March 8th followed by the championship game on March 9th. Both games will be played at the highest remaining seed of the four remaining semifinalist.
