Baseball Going to the NCAA Division III Tournament for First Time in Program History

Waterville, Maine - For the first time in program history the Colby College Baseball team is headed to the Division III NCAA Tournament after receiving an at large bid on Monday. With an excellent 29-10 record so far this year and placing in the d3baseball.com top 25 throughout different weeks of the season, the Mules are ready to go for the regional double elimination round. 

On Friday, Colby will get things started facing #8 Salve Regina in Cortland, New York as SUNY Cortland is the regional host. The game is scheduled to begin at 10:00am with a #21 Cortland vs Washington & Jefferson matchup to follow. Fans can follow alongside the action of the three day tournament using the live video and live stats links as well as check out the tournament page for tickets and other information. 

The winners of Friday's games will face each other the next day at noon following the losers matchup to see who will be eliminated first at 8:30am. The winner of this double elimination tournament will advance to the super regional round taking place May 24th-25th in a best-of-three series.
