Sewanee, Tennessee - Colby Women's Tennis falls in a close match 4-5 to #14 Sewanee. 

Due to heavy winds, the Mules played the Tigers on their indoor courts, going down 1-2 after doubles. Sophomore tandem of Ellie Gershaw and Amelie Gal came up big with a 8-6 victory at third doubles. 

Like doubles, the singles competition was close, with senior Sam Riordan snatching the first victory 6-2, 6-4. Jade Finestone continues to pull through at five singles, beating her opponent in a third set tiebreaker. For the third singles win of the day, Michaela Landry won her match at six singles 7-6, 6-2. 

The Mules wrap up their spring break trip with a match against Brenau on Thursday at 5 pm.
