Clinton, N.Y. - Colby Women's Lacrosse took on 20th-ranked Hamilton on the road, defeating the Continentals 12-2. The Mules advanced to an overall record of 5-1 and a NESCAC record of 3-1.
The Mules dominated in the first quarter, scoring four goals while holding Continentals down at zero. Hamilton saw some movement in the second quarter, scoring in the last two minutes of the quarter for a 7-1 score at the half. The Mules continued to outpace Hamilton, securing a comfortable 10-2 lead at the end of the third quarter. Defense for both teams picked up in the fourth quarter, with only two goals scored by Colby to round out the game at a final score of 12-2.

Sarah Hearns had an impressive 80% save rate to hold Hamilton down throughout the game.
