Box Score Waterville, ME - On Saturday afternoon, Colby beat Amherst 3-1 following a 2-3 loss earlier this season. All time, the Mules now trail the Mammoths 15-18-5. Following this matchup, Amherst has a record of 11-8-1 (6-7-1 in conference) while the Mules improve to 7-10-3 (3-8-3 in conference). 

The first period ended with a 1-0 lead for the Mammoths, following a goal in the 17th minute. In the second period, senior Henry Molson scored on an assist from seniors John McElaney and Jack Sullivan. With a 1-1 game heading into the third, First year Jayden Grier found the back of the net to give Colby the lead in the 12th minute on a pass from first year Matthew MacDonald. To finish regulation, Sullivan scored an empty net goal to make the final score 3-1. 

Men's Ice Hockey is back in action Friday, February 9th at Trinity College.
