Middlebury V.t.- Colby College Men's Squash hit the road to compete against the Middlebury College Panthers. The Mules defeated the Panthers 6-3 to improve to 4-2 overall and earn their first NESCAC competition victory of the season to improve to 1-2 in NESCAC conference competition.
The Mules saw two 3-0 victories from sophomore
Inwoo Lee and first-year
Seif Ashraf. This marks the fourth straight 3-0 victory for both Lee and Ashraf.
Jonathan Sosa Uranga had a back-and-forth match up falling in the first and fourth round before succeeding in the second and third round to take it to the fifth round where Sosa Uranga surpassed his competitor 11-4, for the victory. Similarly,
Sebastian Campos fell in a close first round before succeeding in close second and fourth round where Campos earned the victory in the fifth round.
Youssef Mostafa and
Rintaro Yamamoto achieved the 3-1 wins Yamamoto to put the Mules over the Pathers 6-3.
Tomorrow at 3:00pm, Colby College Men's Squash, will travel to Clinton, NY to compete against the Hamilton College Continentals.
