Colby Splits with Hamilton College

The Mules hosted Hamilton for a doubleheader Friday. Colby lost the first game 1-7, but came back to take the second game 3-2. 

Game 1:
  • Carissa Cassidy led the Mules at the plate going 3-3 with two triples and one RBI
  • Hannah Masterson stole two bases
  • The Mules defense were able to get out of innings with runners on, leaving Hamilton with eight runners left on base
Game 2:
  • Colby's lineup had 10 hits with six different players registering at least one
  • Chloe Wilcox and Courtney Schumacher led the offense going 3-4 and 2-3, respectively
  • Logan Luebbe stole a base
  • Sam Ahlholm pitched a strong first five innings only giving up one earned run and Abby Orso shut down Hamilton giving up no runs in the final two innings
Colby will be back on Tuesday with another doubleheader at home.
