Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Waterville, Maine- After facing Husson University in Bangor yesterday, the Mules took the Eagles on in a doubleheader at Colby College this afternoon. The Mules swept the doubleheader, winning game one 5-1 and game two 7-1.
 
GAME ONE:

• Cole Palmeri led the offense hitting two RBIs on a double in the third inning.
• Matthew Panker stole two bases for Colby.
• Jack Pletter secured the win with his 6.0 innings pitched, five strikeouts, and one run.
• Matthew Scibilio earned the save finishing the last inning of the game where he struck out two.

 
GAME TWO

• The Mules hit three homeruns this game. Palmeri and Ryan Grace both hit single-run home runs and Brady O'Brien hit a two-run home run.
• Pitcher Joe Sylvester earned the win going 5.0 innings and striking out four.
• Relief pitching for Colby today combined for five strikeouts and no earned runs over the remaining four innings.

 
The Mules travel down to Waltham, Massachusetts on Wednesday, April 19 to take on Brandeis University. First pitch is scheduled for 5 PM.
