Kerrville, Texas - The Colby Men's Tennis Team continued their spring break success with a 9-0 victory over the Schreiner University Mountaneers.

The Mules quickly gained a 3-0 lead in the doubles with victories on all 3 courts. At 1st doubles, senior captain Jan Wenger and sophomore Jake Cohen won 8-3. At line 2, junior Sam Henry and sophomore James Bogdanovic took an 8-4 victory. On court 3, junior captain Joey Barrett and freshman Aidan Kwong cruised to an 8-4 win.

The Mules continued their success in the singles. Barrett took a 6-2, 6-2 victory at line 1 and Cohen a 6-3, 6-4 win at line 2. Wenger made quick work of his competition, winning 6-1, 6-0 at 3rd singles. At the 4 spot, senior Ben Powis prevailed 6-2, 6-0.

Henry added another point for the Mules on court 5, winning 6-2, 6-0. Kwong tallied the 9th point for the Mules at line 6 to complete the sweet 6-0, 6-0.

The men face Southwestern University on Thursday, March 23rd.
