Middletown, Conn.- Colby College Men's Squash competed against the Bates College Bobcats, on the second day of the CSA Team Championships. The Mules are now 7-12 overall.
Some highlights from the matchup include a 3-0 victory by
Jonathan Sosa Uranga. Freshman
Youssef Mostafa earned his second straight win in the CSA Team Championships with a 3-1 match, holding his opponent to under five points in two rounds.
Syed Kashef had a back-and-forth match with victories in his final two rounds to prevent his opponent from getting the third-round win.
Kit Illick also had a close match with victories in his first, third, and fourth rounds to get the win for Colby. Although not victories;
Dylan Tymkiw,
Adrian Castillo, and
Sebastian Campos worked hard in their respective close 3-2 matches.
Tomorrow at 1:00 p.m., Colby College Mens Squash will compete against the Hamilton College Continentals in the final day of the CSA Team Championships.
