Men's Squash Ready for CSA Team Championship

Waterville, Maine - After competing in the NESCAC tournament two weeks ago, the Colby Men's Squash team gets ready for the 2023 CSA Team Championship. This year it will be hosted by Trinity and Wesleyan on February 24th-26th.

The top eight teams in the nation compete in the A division for the Potter Cup, which is awarded to the national champions. Based on their performance in the regular season, the remaining teams compete in different divisions: B (Hoehn Cup), C (Summers Cup), D (Conroy Cup), E (Chaffee Cup), F (Serues Cup), and G (Hawthorn Cup). Last year, the Mules battled for the Conroy Cup but after a 7-11 overall record this year, Colby moves up a division and will compete for the Summers Cup.

At 6:30pm tomorrow at Trinity on courts 2, 3, and 5, the Mules will begin the tournament as the #7 seed matching up against NESCAC opponent Amherst, the #2 seed. During the regular season, Colby fell to the Mammoths 3-6 on the road, January 21st.

Fans can go to the CSA Men's Championship webpage to find all the information on results, live scores, and streaming throughout the weekend. More tournament info can be found on the Men's Team Championship page on club locker. The winner will advanced to the semifinals Saturday at 6:00pm on the same courts versus #3 Bates or #6 Hobart.
