Men's Ice Hockey Prepares for Playoffs as the Fifth Seed

Waterville, Maine - The #5 seed Colby Men's Ice Hockey team will head to #4 Hamilton Saturday February 25th for a NESCAC quarterfinals matchup. Last year the two teams faced off in the semifinals with the Mules taking the victory 6-4. 

In this years regular season series, the home teams came away with the wins. On January 6th, Colby won 4-3 in Waterville with goals coming from Alex Bourhas, Henry Molson, Dan Juzych, and Jake MacDonald with the game winner late in the third period. Andy Beran tallied 26 saves. On the road, Hamilton recorded a 3-1 win on February 3rd with the Mules lone goal coming from Carter Breitenfeldt. Andy Beran finished with 22 saves. 

Saturday's afternoon matchup is set for 4:30pm. Fans can follow the live stats and webcast of the event from these links, or from the NESCAC Championship Central webpage.

The winner will advanced to the semifinals on Saturday March 4th. The Mules have played in two of the last four championship games winning the NESCAC title in 2018.
