New London, Connecticut- Men's Hockey matched up against Connecticut College in the last of two regular season games earlier Friday night. The Mules currently hold the #5 seed in NESCAC play.

The first twenty minutes were scoreless, with Colby outshooting the Camels 6-4. In the second,
Carter Breitenfeldt took off for the Mules, scoring three goals in just under ten minutes. His first goal came courtesy of
Ryan Doolin, feeding Breitenfeldt from across the net to take a 1-0 lead. Just two and a half minutes later, Breitenfeldt would beat three defenders, knocking in a backhand shot past the Conn. College goaltender. His third goal came on the power play, sending a wrist shot into the top corner of the net.
Colby kept the offense coming with first-year
Tyler Crist knocking in a rebound from
John McElaney to go up 4-0. The Camels found a way to beat Mules goaltender
Andy Beran to break the shutout with just under a minute to play in the second period.
Colby's offense slowed down in the final twenty minutes, only one goal from
Alex Bourhas on the power play with just under three minutes to play. Strong defense and goaltending prevented the Camels from tallying another goal against the Mules, solidifying the 5-1 win.

Colby is back in action in their final regular season matchup against Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. Game is scheduled for 4 PM.
