Waterville, MAINE- Colby took to the court this afternoon to recognize six seniors before playing their final game of the season. Their opponent was the number one team in the NESCAC, Hamilton. The Mules kept up with the visiting Continentals and trailed by only one going into the half. Colby then opened the floodgates putting up 54 points to give themselves the win. The victory takes the Mules to 18-6 and Hamilton to 16-8. 

The first half saws Colby match baskets with the Continentals as they ended the half only down 34-33. The Mules held onto the ball and got to the free throw line eight times, converting on all eight trips. Alec McGovern led the scoring for Colby in the first half with seven points. Noah Tyson and Will King contributed an additional six each. 

The second half saw the Mules outscore Hamilton 54-36 off of solid shooting and tough defense. Colby converted five Continentals turnovers into ten points. They also shot 62 percent from the field and 57 percent from three-point range. Jonah Obi led the scoring for the Mules with ten points. Tyson had another nine, while McGovern had seven more to give him a season-high 14 points. 

Colby's season will continue next week as they move on to the NESCAC playoffs.
