Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Scoreless at the Half, Hamilton Pulls Ahead in Last 45

Waterville, Maine — Today, on Serdjenian Field, Colby celebrated our Men's Soccer Seniors. However, despite their hard efforts, the Mule's fell 1-0 to Hamilton College.

In the first half, Colby's goalkeeper, Brendan McCarthy, and the defense faced 10 shots but none of these attempts by Hamilton were successful. In response, Colby's Myles Culley and Eduardo Casanova tried to be the first to put a point on the board for the Mules but were unable to capitalize on these scoring opportunities. For the majority of the half, Hamilton continued to test Colby's defense without success.

Going into the second half, the score remained 0-0. Yet again, Myles Culley tried to get some momentum going for Colby but couldn't find an opening. In the 56th minute, Hamilton broke the tie to take the lead, making the score 1-0. Although Colby created more shot attempts in the 30 minutes following, the score remained 1-0 with Colby falling just short.

Colby will head down to New London, Connecticut to face Connecticut College this weekend. This game will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14th.
