Waterville, Maine — Despite the rainy conditions throughout today's game, Colby and Middlebury fought until the last whistle to end in a 0-0 tie.
Colby's defense stays strong to earn another shutout for the season. MK Marshall started her ninth game in goal and made a total of three saves, keeping Middlebury to a scoreless game.
Sophie DiGrande was the first to test Middlebury's defensive side, recording a shot on goal for Colby. DiGrande attempted two other shots throughout the game, leading in offensive statistics. Maddie Fisher also bid a couple of shots but both were just wide of the net. Although Colby ended today with a tie, their underclassmen proved to be a strong asset to their team both offensively and defensively, displaying a promising future for the Mules.
