Box Score Middletown, Connecticut- Men's Hockey battled against Wesleyan University earlier today in a NESCAC matchup.

Carter Breitenfeldt started the scoring for the Mules, knocking in a pass from
Jack Sullivan to go up 1-0 early against the Cardinals. Colby outshot Wesleyan 9-7 this period, with
Andy Beran in net for the Mules. In the second, another early goal by Breitenfeldt put Colby up 2-0 with assists going to
Ryan Doolin and
Connor Gallagher. This would be Breitenfeldt's third goal in two games for the Mules. Just about halfway through the final period
Michael McEachern tallied a goal with an assist going to
Henry Molson, putting Colby up 3-1. The Cardinals would find an answer, coming back to tie the game at three goals each. In overtime, both teams had a chance on the power play, but were unable to convert on the man-advantage, resulting in a 3-3 tie. Beran made 26 saves for the Mules today.

Colby is back in action in NESCAC play on Friday, January 20, against Middlebury College in Waterville, Maine at the Jack Kelley Rink. Puck drop is slated for 7 PM.
