Waterville, Maine - The Colby College Men's Soccer team hosted the Monks of Saint Joseph's College Monday afternoon. Amidst rain showers that came in and out the entire afternoon, the Mules fought for their third tie in as many games, posting a 0-0 deadlock. Colby moved to 2-1-3 on the season, while Saint Joseph's now sits at 3-2-1.
Colby held the offensive advantage in the first half, generating six shots with the help of three corner kicks. The Mules kept pressure on in the second half with five shots, but only two found their way towards the net. In net for the Monks, Mike Sheridan turned away both shots on goal, and
Matt Morin posted his first shutout of the season in goal for Colby, turning away one shot.
Colby is back in action this weekend hosting Williams on Saturday and Amherst on Sunday.
