Hartford, CONNECTICUT - On February 5th, 2022 the men's squash team traveled down to Hartford to compete in the NESCAC Championships. The Mules competed against Hamilton College and dominated them with an overall score of 6-3, placing them in the 7th position in the NESCAC.
Some highlights include #2 seat
Jonathan Sosa Uranga who started off strong winning his first game, but then fell short in the second game. After given good advice by fellow teammates, Uranga strategically won his next two games, securing one win for the Mules (11-1, 7-11, 11-4, 11-8). Another highlight is #9 seat
Tyler Burt who started off slow, losing his first game, but then came back winning the next three games, adding another win for the day (8-11, 11-8, 11-9, 11-8).
Other highlights include #3 seat
Adrian Castillo (11-5, 12-10, 11-3), #4 seat
Alex Spafford (11-4, 11-3, 17-15), #6 seat
Rintaro Yamamoto (12-10, 12-10, 11-6), and #7 seat
Kit Illick (11-5, 11-4, 14-12) who all played consistently and strategically, winning their matches in just 3 games.
