Lewiston, MAINE - The Colby Women's Basketball team lost to Bates today, Tuesday December 6th, by a score of 74-48. The Mules drop to 3-4 while the Bobcats improve to 5-2.
Bates offense shined right out of the gate, outscoring Colby 38-24 in the first half. The Mules weren't able to stop the bleeding, losing the second half 36-24, and the fourth quarter 16-12.
Caroline Smith collected her sixth double-digit scoring effort of the season, netting 16 points on an efficient 5-9 from the field.
Carter McGloon had a fantastic all around game, scoring 12 points, grabbing eight rebounds, assisting on two scores, and notching three steals.
Colby will look to bounce back in their game Saturday, December 10th, at 3:00 PM.
