Waterville, Maine- Colby Men's Ice Hockey faced off against Bowdoin College in a NESCAC matchup. The Mules looking to remain undefeated in their season, would the defeat the Polar Bears 4-2.

The first period showcased evenly matched play from both teams, with Colby outshooting Bowdoin eight to six in a scoreless period. Bowdoin got onto the scoreboard just over four minutes into the period. The Mules answered just over three minutes later with
John McElaney scoring a power play goal to tie the game.
Jack Sullivan and
Henry Molson earning assists. The Polar Bears would add one more goal to give them the advantage heading into the final twenty minutes of play. With just over five minutes remaining in the third, freshman
James Tepper scored his first career goal to tie the game with the help from
Alex Bourhas and
Clay Korpi. Not even two minutes later, Molson tallied the go-ahead goal, making a beautiful move around the Bowdoin goaltender. To finish off the game, senior captain
Drew Burke would knock home the empty-net goal to give Colby the 4-2 win over their rival

The Mules are back in action next Friday, December 9, at 7 PM against Connecticut College in a NESCAC matchup in the Jack Kelley Rink.
