Hartford, Connecticut - Colby Women's Soccer traveled to Hartford to play the Trinity Bantams this weekend. The Mules tied with Trinity in a scoreless game. The final score was 0-0 putting the Mules at 1-0-1 for the season and Trinity at 2-1-1.
The first half of the game started with fouls from both teams. The Mules and Bantams played aggressively from the start, with Trinity putting down three shots and three fouls in the first fifteen minutes and Colby with two fouls and one shot, all shots wide of net. The teams continued to play scrappy and hard throughout the half with multiple fouls and shots just off the mark, from both sides. Trinity put two shots on net at the end of the half both saved by Colby freshmen keeper

The teams came out with the same intensity of play in the second half. Within the first ten minutes a penalty kick was called against Colby. Trinity took the shot and missed with a save from Colby keeper

Kerrie Verbeek put one shot on net in the 76th minute of play, saved by Trinity keeper. The Mules wrapped up the game with a final box score of 0-0.
Colby Women's soccer again on Sunday the 19th at 1:30pm against Connecticut College, in Connecticut.
