Williamstown, Mass. - The Mules played the Ephs at Williams for the second time this weekend and came away with another win. Colby scored five goals to Williams' three, holding the opponents to zero goals until the third period.
In the first period, there was no score until the last minute of play when the Mules had back to back goals by
Jillian Mazzocca (assisted by
Stephanie Lane and
Bri Michaud-Nolan) and
Lexi Cafiero (assisted by Colleen Donohue and
Meg Rittenhouse). The Mules had 21 shots in the first period compared to the Ephs 12. Nina Prunster had eight saves and the Mules went into the break up 2-0 against Williams.

At the start of the second period, Michaud-Nolan received a two-minute penalty for roughing but the Mules held the Ephs to only three shots during their power play. 5:32 into the second, the Mules added another goal to make it 3-0.
Elizabeth Brashich scored with an assist from
Stephanie Lane and
Abby Wick. Just before the eight minute mark, the Mules made the score 4-0 with a goal from Senior Captain
Sadie Kuhn (pictured left), assisted by
Paige Larose and Mazzocca.
The Ephs didn't get on the board until seven minutes into the final period, making the score 4-1. Robin Kitazono scored for Williams with a double-assist from Kelly McCarthy and Delaney Szlezyngier. In just twenty seconds the Mules returned with another goal, this time from Larose and assisted by Lane and
Anna Staton. Williams scored one more goal to make the final score 5-2. Nina Prunster finished the game with 35 saves.
The Mules will play out of conference on Tuesday November 23rd against University of Southern Maine at 7:30pm.
