Waterville, Maine- The Mules hosted their last match of the season against the 18-4 Tufts Jumbos. While the team improved each set, they were not able to outscore the Jumbos. The game ended with Tufts winning 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-22).
While The Jumbos dominated in points and kills, Colby led in Aces with seven to Tufts' six. Jenny Slaveck had three aces throughout the match. Natalie Bumpus led the Mules with four blocks, and Samantha Schultz led in the backcourt with 11 digs. It was a great fight to end the season, but not enough to reach NESCAC playoffs for the Mules. It was a great season for Colby Volleyball, however they'll still look to improve for next season.
