Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Mules Cap Season in Lewiston

Lewiston, ME - Colby Women's Soccer traveled to Lewiston on Tuesday to face the Bates Bobcats in their final game of the season. Despite it being a close game, the Mules eventually fell to the Bobcats with a final score of 1-4. 

The first period opened up with multiple shots on the goal by both sides. While goalie Emily McMaster '25 was able to hold off the first few, Bates scored their first goal in the 17th minute. The Mules fought back with a goal by Corrigan Rayhill '24 soon after. Multiple more shots were made by both teams, but no more successfully sank by the end of the half. 

Bates accelerated their momentum in the second half, opening up with two more shots and then a goal early into the period. The Bobcats remained aggressive, making various more shot attempts and scoring an additional two goals by the end of the period. 

Colby Women's Soccer ends their season with a record of 4-8-2 (0-8-2 in NESCAC play).
