Box Score Waterville, Maine - Tuesday was an absolutely beautiful day for the Colby College Women's Lacrosse team to play. Not a typical March day in Maine, the sunny and warm weather lured students into the stands to cheer on their classmates in an out-of-conference match-up against the Roger Williams Hawks.
GAME NOTES: The Mules got their feet under them quickly, recovering from their first loss to #2 Tufts University on Saturday. Colby was successful on all but one clear, and their offense was much faster and defense stronger Tuesday, showing potential for the Mules as they move into the rest of their season.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE MULES:

Gianna Bruno (11) scored the first goal of the game which was her first collegiate goal. She then added two more to end the game with a hat trick. Grace Langmuir (22) and Taylor Moore (13, photo right) also scored three goals apiece.

Colby had 18 shots on goal with 13 of them going in (72% shot percentage).

Kelsey Otley (29) and Kristin Yorke (39) each had 2 caused turnovers.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE HAWKS:

Delana Erickson (4) scored three out of the six goals for the Hawks.

Lauren Flahive (19) led the team with five ground balls.

The Hawks had four different scorers.

NEXT MATCHUP: The Mules will host two games this weekend. Be sure to catch the NESCAC math-up on Saturday against Williams at 12pm. Sunday they will face Plymouth State University at 1pm.
