AUBURNDALE, Fla. -- The Colby College baseball team fell 6-3 and 7-5 in the first two games of a three-game series with Williams College on Friday in Florida.
The Mules (6-3 overall) and Williams will play again Saturday at 10 a.m. to close out the spring break trip.
Game 1 highlights
* William Wessman and Jackson Ward each had a double and a run scored for the Mules.
* Matt Mitchell had a hit and two RBI for Colby. Dylan Nastri (pictured) had a hit and Chris Romano scored a run.
* Mitchell had a two-run single in the third inning for the Mules. Wessman scored off a Williams error in the sixth.
Game 2 highlights
* Nastri, Russell, and Mark Sunoo all had two hits and a run scored for the Mules.
* Ryan Hecht had a three-run double in the eighth inning to bring in Russell, Wessman, and Nastri. Mitchell and Wessman both had a hit, scored, and drove in a run. Tyler Mulberry had one hit and walked.
