WATERVILLE, Maine- The Colby College Men's Ice Hockey team fell to the Tufts University Jumbos 2-0.

GAME NOTES:

• Both teams battled for puck control in the first two periods. The Mules led in shots, but could not find the back of the net. Tufts was incredibly effective on the penalty kill; keeping the Mules scoreless for 11 minutes of power play action.

HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE MULES:

• Colby's Kienan Scott (headline photo) and Logan Clarke led the team with four shots.
• Andrew Tucci (photo inset) finished the night with 24 saves.
• The Mules penalty kill held Tufts 0 for 2 on the power play.

HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE JUMBOS:

• Tufts' Justin Brandt scored at 15:00 in the third period with an assist from Michael Gordon. 
• Jordan Haney sealed the win with an empty net goal at the 19:21 mark.
• Drew Hotte finished the shutout with 34 saves.

KEY STATS:

• Colby went 0-3 on the power play.
• Colby led in shots at 34-26.

• The Mules look to bounce back with a conference matchup against Connecticut College. Game time is set for 3:00pm.
