Box Score BRUNSWICK, Maine- On the second day of the Colby-Bowdoin Classic the Colby College Men's Ice Hockey team defeated Albertus Magnus College 6-3.
Game Notes: The Mules improve to a 3-3 overall record, propelled by Carter Breitenfeldt's hat trick.
Highlights for the Mules:
- Justin Grillo, assisted by Michael Morrisy, opened up the scoring :30 into the first period, followed by a powerplay goal from Brendan Murphy at 4:14.
- Carter Breitenfeldt scored a hat trick, with one shorthanded goal.
- Justin Grillo sealed the victory at 16:47 in the third period, off an assist from Alex Bourhas.
- Andrew Tucci ended the night with 24 saves.
Highlights for Albertus Magnus:
- Led the Mules in shots in the First Period, 10-8.
- Tied the game with two quick goals to start the second period.
- Pierce Diamond totaled 22 saves for the Falcons.
