WATERVILLE, Maine - The Colby College Men's Ice Hockey team totalled 63 shots and beat Southern New Hampshire University 2-1.

Highlights for the Mules:

• Michael Morrissey (Justin Grillo) scored first at 6:05 in the second period.
• Brendan Murphy (Carter Breitenfeldt & J.P. Schulen) scored the game-winning goal at 16:29 in the third period.
• The Mules put 63 shots on goal. 
• Goaltender Andy Beran (pictured right) made his first collegiate start, and tallied 34 saves. 

Highlights for the Penmen:

• Cole Stewart (Andy Somerville & Travis Quigley) tied the game at 12:58 in the second period.
• Goaltender Kurt Gutting tallied 61 saves. 

Next Matchup:

• The Mules move on to face UMass Boston on Saturday at Alfond Rink as part of the Colby-Bowdoin Classic. Start time is 4:00pm.
