Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The Colby College baseball team had a 10-4 advantage in hits, but the lone error of the game cost the Mules in a 9-4 setback to Bates College in NESCAC East play Sunday at the Colby Baseball/Softball Complex.

Canavan followed up with a sacrifice fly to right field to bring in McCarthy. Colby starter Bobby Forese got the final out on a fly ball to center field to get out of the inning.

Colby's other two runs came in the fourth after a lead off double by Arsenault and a single by Garcia. Andrew Della Volpe had a sacrifice fly to right field to plate Arsenault. Keenan Iuliano singled to bring in Garcia with the other run.

Treveloni had three hits and one run, while Garcia had two hits and drove in two runs. Arsenault scored twice and had two hits. Matt Mitchell had one hit and a walk.
