NEW LONDON, Conn. — Cassidy Holzer (pictured) scored the lone goal for the Colby College women's hockey team in a 5-1 loss to ninth-ranked Connecticut College in NESCAC play Friday.
Holzer scored on a shorthanded goal with 3:37 left in the game.
Hannah Insuik stooped 27 shots for the Mules and Katie Fenton saw her first action with two saves.
Michael Igo and Ashley Anctil both contributed a goal and an assist for the Camels (12-6-2, 8-4). The Mules, who play another game Saturday against the Camels at 3 p.m., fell to 0-16-3 overall and 0-12-1 in the conference.
Holzer collected the puck in the neutral zone and made a nice stick move to beat goalie Katherine Chester to the far post side of the goal.
