MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -- Michael Boardman was 15th in the men's slalom for Colby College's men's alpine team and the Mules had two women finish in the top 20 at the Middlebury Carnival on Friday at the Snow Bowl.
Boardman had times of 48.76 and 48.90 for a two-run total time of 1:37.66. He helped the Mules take eighth place with 51 points.
Jack Auty placed 28th for Colby in 1:40.08 and
Michael Ferri was 41st.
Sandra Schoepke took 19th place in a total time of 1:41.57 and teammate Jessica Reinhart was a place behind with a finish of 1:41.70 over her two runs. Ingrid Klinkenberg (pictured) took 44th.
The Colby women placed seventh overall, but had some bad luck when
Mardi Haskell was disqualified on her second run. She was in third place with a 48.78 after the opening run.
