WATERVILLE, Maine -- Hugh Doherty battled back from a 2-1 set deficit to earn a 3-2 victory at the fourth position for the 23rd-ranked Colby College men's squash team in an 8-1 loss to 18th-ranked Bates College on Wednesday.
Doherty (pictured) split the first two sets and then fell 13-11 in the third set. However, he bounced back for 12-10 and 11-9 wins.
The Mules lost one match in five sets and three in four sets.
