Box Score WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Halley Fine stopped 40 shots and the Colby College women's hockey team led early in a 5-1 loss at Williams College in NESCAC play Saturday.
Mikayla McLaughlin scored her fourth of the season at 11:57 of the first period to put Colby up 1-0.
The Ephs (8-5 overall, 6-2 NESCAC) scored two goals in a span of 1:01 to take a 2-1 lead after the first period. Eliza Quigley tallied in a shorthanded situation at 13:26 and Anna Fucillo scored the eventual game-winning goal at 14:27.
Fine kept Colby (0-11-3, 0-7-1 NESCAC) in the game with 14 saves in the second period, but Annie Rush scored with just 1:54 left in the period for a 3-1 margin.
Williams scored two goals in the final 5:08 of the third period to pull away.
