Box Score WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Delaney Flynn scored her fourth of the season for the Colby College women's hockey team in a 4-1 loss to Williams College on Friday.
Colby and the Ephs (6-5 overall, 4-2 NESCAC) skated to a 0-0 tie after the opening period.
Williams scored two goals in a span of 42 seconds to go up 2-0 in the second period. Sara Lehman scored at 5:50 of the period and Alex Lovaas followed with her goal at 6:32.
Flynn scored on the power play at 8:42 from Katie McLaughlin and Anna Rudinski. McLaughlin has four assists and Rudinski picked up her third.
Kearan Burke put Williams up 3-1 with just 1:52 left in the second period. Lehman added her second of the game with 3:13 remaining in the final period.
Halley Fine stopped 38 shots for Colby (0-10-3, 0-6-1), while Marissa Anderson made 29 stops for the Ephs.
The two teams will play again Saturday at 3 p.m.
