Box Score WATERVILLE, Maine — Amherst College scored with just 39 seconds remaining in the first half on a penalty kick in a 2-0 win against Colby College in NESCAC women's soccer Saturday.
The Mules were hoping to head into halftime scoreless until the penalty kick. Colby goalkeeper Samantha Rizzo was called for the infraction. Hannah Guzzi beat Rizzo on the kick at 44:21.
Eden Charles gave the Jeffs an insurance goal at 63:44.
Rizzo made nine stops for Colby, while Holly Burwick made three saves.
