Newville, Penn. - Gordon Doore of the Colby Men's Cross Country team is headed to the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships after qualifying last weekend at the NCAA East Regionals. The junior placed 12th out of 229 total competitors contributing to the Mules 6th place finish out of 34 teams. Doore qualified as part of the first seven student-athletes from the east region who are not already part of a qualifying team. 

The championship race will be hosted by Dickinson College on Nov. 18 at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania. The men's race will begin at 11:00am followed by the women's race at noon. Fans can follow the live stream via NCAA.com beginning at the time the race starts and ending at the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
